Mission Statement:
This new independent record label was formed out of a God given vision by it’s owners to produce good quality gospel music, along with other positive music expressions, that maintained a spiritual presents while still being marketable enough to reach the unit sales that would rival mainstream artists. The main directive however, is not to concentrate on unit sales alone, a profit margin or blending in and emulating mainstream artists, but to remember that the message gospel music and its representatives are suppose to convey to the masses should be positive, uplifting and enlightening.
The founders of Hiyaa Records believe that if the main focus is placed in the message instead of the messengers; maintaining a professional but yet spiritual presence of gospel music instead of trying to blend to the latest trend; expounding dignity and class instead of trying to fit into the latest fad; unit sales will surely follow while still delievering the clear message of the Gospel AKA "Good News".
This label's other goal is to allow its artists room to experiment with their music and remain creative in their ministries which will allow them to grow as musicians, singers and messengers instead stifling their creativity. This label intends to welcome any artists that has amessages that will help mankind to first grow spiritually; treat our fellow man with love and respect; help us to improve as men and women in our relationships.
The founders of Hiyaa Records also believe that any subject that deals with real life should not be taboo to any gospel artist/label”, for it is the real life situations that we all deal with on a day to day basis such as; paying our bills, unloving empty relationships, divorce, unwed motherhood, absentee fathers & mothers, divorce, heart break, unemployment, gang violence, drugs, hatred, jealously, depression, child abuse, abusive relationships just to name a few.
Hiyaa Records intend to allow present and future artists room to be deal with all of the aforementioned subjects in a positive contemporary manor without turning people off or aways from the truth; we will not keep our artists from delivering messages that can help all of humanity grow.
We look forward to providing you with artists that will minister to you; bring you the good news; entertain your spirit in whatever format or music expression that may entail.

Marvin Yates
This will be Marvin's 2nd project release under the Hiyaa Record label. His first release received national recognition. With this new release Marvin is showing his versatility. This Compilation release will include song submissions that will range from neo-soul flavored songs along with a praise & worship. The songs included in this collection will be a collaboration between Marvin Yates and Kevin Nickelson. There will also be a music video, at this time still in the planning stages, will include guest rap artists from various part of the United States. In order to promote this CD Marvin and Wenola will be making appearances via a mini tour still in the planning stages.

Wenola's contribution to this Compilation CD project were all recorded live in September 2005 We had a highly anointed time as she allowed the Lord to use her 5 octave range skillfully as she sang a little urban, a traditional hymn, neo soul and R & B flavored gospel material. She even had the nerve to even scat on one of her up tempo songs. Four of Wenola's songs were written by

Praise Aholic Records located inTexas.
The name of this Compilation is....
It's ALL About Love
The title was selected because the theme of these songs deal with the love of God to the love we should have for one another, Without both we realize we cannot make it into the Kingdom.
